1-Hour Workshop
We are resilient and once things return to somewhat normalcy, this workshop is free- opened to those that want to learn and share how to make your own hand sanitizers.
When it comes to preventing the spread of infectious diseases like COVID-19.
The best line of defense is to wash your hands often. How much time you spend washing your hands makes a difference.
But if water and soap aren’t available, your next best option, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is to use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60-75 percent alcohol to reduce the number of microbes on your hands.
We followed the recipe that is recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO). Handrub Formulation with moisturizer to lessen the harshness of the alcohol on your skin. We will be making one with Aloe and one with vegetable glycerin. One sanitizer gel, one sanitizer spay, to take home.
