Rare Philadelphia Bethlehem New England RailRoad Safety Award Coyote Knife.
PBNE was Bethlehem Steel's common carrier switching tracks inside the Bethlehem plant connecting to two outside railroads, the Lehigh Valley Railroad to the north and Reading Railroad to the south and west. Rail access transported raw materials and distributed steel. PBNE RR was in operations for close to a century (1910-2003).
The Colonial Knife Co. was founded by the Paolantonio brothers in 1926, in Providence, RI. For over 94 years, they have been producing high-quality knives and tools for the military, law enforcement, first responders, and general outdoor enthusiasts. In 1985, they registered the Coyote trademark to be used for a line of more cost-effective, yet still specialty, lockback hunting knives. They pride themselves on the high quality of their blades, attributing it to their extremely precise method of hardening the steel of their blades, making them stronger and more resistant to breaks, while preserving their ability to be sharpened.
